So so romantic... A young couple while was going to the wedding party.


This shot is part of an old photoshoot during a wedding day at Santorini Island, Greece using a simple compact camera! I am fascinated with the HDR result created in Photomatix 4.2. This is a proof that you can still create amazing pictures with such a simple equipment. The key is how you use the availiable light and focus the subject

STEPS:
1. I made 3 versions of the photo using different exposure values (-3, 0, 2) and saved them in .tif format (uncompressed)
2. I opened the TIFs in Photomatix and created a monochrome HDR image. Exported in .tif format again
3. I made the final retouches in Photoshop CS5.
